How big is the boat?

It is a 27 foot Bayhawk, which can fish up to 8 people at a time, along with your guide, of course.

Can I fish some more after my trip?

You sure can! Many of our customers like to fish (mainly for catfish) on our dock while Scott cleans your Stripers.

What are the rates?

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit/debit cards along with cash & checks.

However, be aware that a 3.75% processing fee will be added to all card payments (This is a fee imposed by our card processor, and is not collected by Okie-Tex Guide Service).

What do you provide?

We provide all of the fishing equipment. This includes rods, reels, bait, and life jackets. Your catch will be cleaned and bagged for you to take home.

What do I need to bring?

We recommend you bring an ice chest for lunch, drinks, and/or snacks. This can also be used to transport your bagged fish home with you. In the spring, mornings can be quite cool, so be sure to bring a jacket. Wet weather gear like ponchos or rain suits could be a great idea as well. During warm weather months, you should bring sunblock, sunglasses, and a hat. You will also need your Lake Texoma fishing license, in either  physical (card or paper) or digital form (cell phone image/app).

Where do I get a Lake Texoma Fishing License?

The Lake Texoma fishing license costs $12 and can be purchased from retailers like Walmart, Academy,  and Atwoods, or online from the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation and the Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife. (Links)

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my trip?

Please notify Scott immediately at (580) 221-3519 in the event you need to cancel or reschedule your trip.

What if the weather is bad?

We do not fish in dangerous weather conditions, such as lightning and high winds. However, we do fish when it's cold, raining, snowing, or hot. Please keep these conditions in mind when scheduling a trip and make sure you wear appropriate attire to match those conditions
