About Our Rates

At Okie-Tex Guide Service, our Lake Texoma guiding fishing rates are worth every penny. But, just seeing a price doesn’t really explain everything you get for your money.

That is why we decided to break down exactly what you will be receiving when you choose to hire Okie-Tex Guide Service to take you out on Lake Texoma as your Striper Fishing Guide.

What's Included in My Rate?

The first and most important part of any guided striper trip is the experience of your guide. Aside from being a licensed striper guide, Scott’s 20 plus years of experience are truly priceless. However, there is so much more you will get than just that.

Your Guided Trip rate covers the cost of our top-of-line 27-foot Bayhawk fishing boat full of all the modern fishing technology you could ever want. No need to worry about bringing, polls, reels, baits, or tackle as Scott will take care of all that for you.

Besides just experience and equipment, your rate also covers professional cleaning and bagging of your entire catch. That means you get to do all the fun stuff and leave the boring and messy parts up to your guide.

Lastly, your rate includes heaps of fun. Here at Okie-Tex Guide Service, you’re not just another customer, you’re family.

Ok Then, What's NOT Included?

To get the most out of your Guided Fishing Trip, you will need to do a little preparation.

First and foremost, you need to have a fishing license. The easiest way to make sure you are legal is to get a Lake Texoma fishing license. Lake Texoma is actually located within the boundaries of both Texas and Oklahoma. So having only one state’s license isn’t always enough. The $12 Lake Texoma fishing license will cover you no matter where on the lake our journey takes us, and can be purchased from retailers like Walmart, Academy,  and Atwoods, or online from the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation and the Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife.

Additionally, while we handle all of the fishing equipment, meals are not included. You will want to pack a lunch, snacks, and some drinks. It’s recommended that you carry them in either an ice chest or cooler. Those same chests can then be used to take home your day’s catch, which we clean and bag.

You will want to make sure you have weather appropriate clothing. As with any lake, the weather on Lake Texoma can change rapidly, so having a jacket and some light rain gear is highly recommended. You’ll also want to carry sunglasses and sunblock, especially during the warm months.

More Information on Pricing

The cost of your trip varies based on the number of people in your group. If you have 3 or fewer people in your group, the total introductory rate is $550 flat. However, if you have 4 or more people in your group, instead of starting with the intro rate, you are charged for each person in your group at a rate of $175 each.  So, the total rate for a group of 4 is $700, a group of 5 is $775 and so on, with each additional person adding another $175 to the total.

That being said, regardless if you are going as a pair or have a group of six, you still get all of the same great benefits.
